Quick FAQ
Let it Live on.
In the spirit of transparency, we’ll send you an email sharing how your items will be routed.
Reuse:
Items you’ve sent that are suitable for reuse will either be donated or go to secondhand distribution, giving them the opportunity to be worn and loved again.
End-of-Use:
Items that cannot be reused, like intimates or worn-out items, will be recycled into new fibers whenever possible or downcycled into materials like insulation, etc.
Reuse, recycling and downcycling aren’t always available options; in those cases, we are committed to safe, responsible disposal such as converting to alternative fuels or waste-to-energy as a last resort.

Give Your Used Clothing, Accessories and Intimates
Calvin Klein’s Re-Calvin program is a free take-back service that collects and sorts pre-owned clothing and accessories for potential reuse, recycling, or downcycling where suitable. If you are ready to part with used clothes, accessories, and intimates from any brand (including denim, t-shirts, knits, outerwear, underwear, swimwear, dresses, handbags, and more), we encourage you to send your worn pieces including women’s used clothing, men’s used clothing, and children’s used clothing, through Re-Calvin
Thinking of donating clothes or figuring out how to recycle clothes responsibly?
- Re-Calvin offers a simple way to extend the life of your used clothes.
- This take-back service accepts second hand clothing from any brand - including clothing, accessories, and intimate items—making it easier to manage what you no longer wear.
- Once collected, items are carefully sorted to determine the best next use.
- Where possible, products are prepared for reuse, extending the life of pre-owned clothes and used designer clothing.
- Items not suitable for reuse are directed to recycling or downcycling pathways, depending on material and condition.
- This allows Re-Calvin to handle a wide range of items including accepting underwear.
Looking into clothing recycling programs or wondering how to recycle old clothes?
- Re-Calvin provides a convenient alternative that doesn’t require sorting by brand or condition ahead of time.
- Instead of asking where to donate used clothes or about recycling clothes at home, you can rely on one streamlined system designed to manage multiple outcomes.
- Whether you're clearing out secondhand clothing or exploring options for fashion recycling, Re-Calvin helps ensure your items are handled through reuse, recycling, or downcycling—based on what’s most appropriate for each item based on product type and condition.
